Charles is an entrepreneur whose career in the financial sector has spanned  30 years. Charles moved on to the electrifying world of equity sales in Hong Kong where he was hired as a research analyst for Credit Lyonnais Securities, evaluating investments for British merchant banks and global emerging market funds.

After attending graduate school in international business, Charles returned to Hong Kong and became the Regional Marketing Manager for a Hong Kong-based  licensing company overseeing marketing and distribution for Coca-Cola, Inc., in Singapore, the Philippines, Taiwan and Hong Kong.

At heart an entrepreneur, in 1992 Charles founded GM Limited, LTD., a golf licensing distribution company with a substantive roster of brands including Reebok, Greg Norman and Payne Stewart. GM Limited became one of the most successful golf apparel businesses in Hong Kong and China. Selling the company in 1997, Charles went on to pursue entrepreneurial opportunities in multiple sectors including communications, oil and gas and real estate, areas to which he brought significant energy and acumen.

For several years he served as director of business development for American Property Solutions, a joint venture between Bitzer & L.C. Fulenwider focusing on bank REO and distressed real estate.

In 2014 he was asked to join Cherry Creek Partners, a private equity firm based in Denver, CO, that syndicates investment opportunities in real estate and provides seed capital to start ups, a position he maintains.

Charles received a BA from Vassar College and earned an MBA from the American Graduate School of Int’l Management.
